Kennington Bioscope is taking silent cinema into the 21st century – by making the move to online ticketing.
Forthcoming Bioscope event listings will now feature a ‘Get Tickets’ button. This will allow silent film fans to purchase their Bioscope tickets in advance. That means guaranteed entry on the night and less queueing.
With Bioscope screenings becoming more and more popular, the team has had to handle up to a hundred cash and card transactions on the night. Bioscope regulars will know all about the queue that can build up! Checking-in prepaid ticket holders should be much quicker – giving more time for ticket holders to sit down and relax before showtime.
Space allowing, tickets will still be sold on the door. Also, for those who cannot buy tickets online, it will still be possible to email the Kennington Bioscope to reserve a place. However, if you reserve a ticket this way you will need to arrive by 19:15 for this reservation to be honoured. After this time your place will be released for general sale on the door.
