This is an exciting time for the Cinema Museum, but as a charity and social enterprise we need benefactors, friends, volunteers, sponsorship and donations to help it survive and thrive.

Become a Volunteer
With no staff employed, volunteers are central to the running of the Museum: organising and cataloguing the collection; guiding tours; maintaining the building; and planning, publicising and running our events, where roles range from technicians and projectionists to ushers and cafe staff.
We are a friendly and inclusive bunch who share an enjoyment of cinema and the motivation to make the Museum a pleasure for its users.

Support our Campaign
Our current fundraising campaign is focused on securing the long-term future of the Museum by purchasing its existing home.
The Museum is not publicly funded, so if you are able to make a donation to our cause, please visit our fundraising page.

Donating to the Collection
Historically the Museum has gratefully accepted many donations to its collection. The Museum would not be the treasure trove it has become without receiving such generosity.
As we now attempt to secure the long-term future of the Museum we have to be more constrained in what we can accept.
If you would like to donate some artefact, or a part or whole of a collection, we would love to hear from you. Do get in touch with details of the offer. However, mindful of the associated storage and curatorial needs of any new items, we will have to give any proposal careful consideration.
