Visit the Museum

We’d love to see you at the Museum, but we don’t currently have regular opening hours.

To view the collection you must book a place on one of our guided tours.

The tours are conducted by our team of talented and enthusiastic volunteers and last for approximately two hours, including a screening of about thirty minutes of short films.

Tour Prices

Adults: £15
Concessions: £12, available to…

  • Children and young people under 18
  • People aged 65 and over
  • Students
  • People on a low income and in receipt of state benefits

Carers needed to accompany a visitor are admitted free.

Parking

Cycle parking provided. Limited car parking available by arrangement. The Museum is within the Congestion Charging zone.

Cats

The Museum shares its home with three cats, Garbo, Marble and Jimmy.

We are keen to work with local schools and community groups to host activities that support our educational aims and our wellbeing offer for Lambeth and Southwark residents (read more on our ‘About Us’ page) – and get in touch if you have a relevant proposal.

If you would like to access some aspect of the Museum’s collection to support a research project, get in touch to see if we can help. In the case of professional or academic researchers we’ll be keen to understand what funding is available to support access to the archive, or whether a joint proposal to funders might be appropriate.
